Since the company’s inception in the year 1890, Excelsior Hose Co. No. 1 has dedicated itself to protecting and serving the residents of the Borough of Olyphant. Even though times and techniques have changed through out the years, our service and goals have not. We continue to do the best job possible in order to protect the ones we serve. Currently, Excelsior Hose Co. No. 1 has a membership roster of over 50 men and women who continue to give their time and efforts in order to uphold the traditions of the company. This website provides information regarding the history, apparatus, members and events that make up the Excelsior Hose Co. No 1. We can assure you that future times will bring continued service and dedication to the Borough of Olyphant.
